The kits and lesson plans are structured for dictates of the current technological advancement and skills gap. Our Students learn the principle of cause and effect, which is the heart of good decision making, during interaction with our Robotic kits. They connect with day-to-day reality and capable of thinking out solutions to problems. Our package introduces science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics to students in a fun way, through hands-on programming of the robots by students revealing interconnectivity of S.T.E.A.M and everyday living, thus appreciating the subjects better.

ABOUT GENOS

A Joyful Robot in Corniche – Junior Category

Students from grades 3, 4, and 5 are eligible to participate in this category.
Students are supposed to make an Autopilot Robot to traverse through the track to reach the allotted destination and raise a flag.
Scoring will be depended on completing the tasks with perfection and in the lowest time.
Two Rounds will be conducted. The final score will be awarded to the best of the two rounds.

Rescue Robot – Senior Category

Students from grades 6, 7, and 8 are eligible to participate in this category.
Students are supposed to build and program a robot that follows a challenging track, avoids obstacles, and reaches the danger zone to evacuate the victim from the danger zone to the safe zone.
Scoring will be depended on completing the tasks with perfection and in the lowest time.
Two Rounds will be conducted. The final score will be awarded to the best of the two rounds.

Registration Details

The teams will be getting hands on training to use the robotics kits which shall be used for the competition purpose.
Refreshments will be provided to the participants during the training sessions and competitions.
Exciting prizes will be awarded to the winning teams and participation certificates to all the participants.
Number of Teams: 30 Teams Only (15 Teams from Junior Category, 15 Teams from Senior Category)
Registration Basis: First come first served basis
Max No of Teams per School: 2 teams per school(1 Team for Senior & 1 Team for Junior)
Number of Participants in a team: 3
Junior Category: Grades 3, 4 & 5.
Senior Category: Grades 6, 7 & 8.
Each school must assign a coordinator (teacher in-charge) who will be accompanying/taking care of the teams when they come for the training sessions and competition.
Participants should be present in their respective school uniform with school ID for the competition.
Each participating team in the senior category must bring a laptop (with min. core i3 spec) for the coding session during training and competition day.
Max No of Teams per School: 2 teams per school(1 Team for Senior & 1 Team for Junior)
Last Date of Registration: - 13th May 2023
Date for the online meeting of this activity coordinators shall be conducted on 14th May 2023 evening. (Timings and meeting credentials will be shared soon)
